We used this for a little baby shower. May is unpredictable in Wisconsin. Our house/yard is small. We decided to give this a try in our narrow driveway(seemed to be the only flat surface we had available) I invited too many guests and most could make it. I had to come up with something to extend our space. Surprisingly it worked great. The forecast called for 55° and thunderstorms.(it was 78° and sunny the day prior) This was easy to assemble. The directions were straightforward. All the pieces were labeled. You should have at least two people. I don't know if it's a necessity, but it does make it easier. We assembled it the night before (in the rain?) it held all night and we squeezed 35 people into it the following day. It was super cozy. I was so happy I got this one as opposed to the one that looked identical for $300+. My only advice is, to take the roll of white tape that comes in the package and tape all connection points. It makes it much sturdier. We didn't have thunderstorms, so I can't speak to that. We did take it all down and even ordered a large tent bag to store it in. We hope to use it again someday.The company did a great job packing and labeling all of the components. The parts themselves are labeled, which is greatly appreciated. The instructions are simple and easy to read. It is very easy to put together - however, it's also rather flimsy. That would be my primary concern even when you use the tent stakes into the ground. You definitely need some type of weight at the bottom of each pole to keep them in place. Once it's set up, as long as it is not a windy day and as long as no one bumps into the upright poles, it does the job. I was also able to deconstruct it quickly and put everything back into the shipping box, so we'll be able to use it again in the future.I’m going to make a review of this canopy and make comments for the manufacturer below.The material used for this canopy is very very thin. The window panels are even more thin. The Velcro is thinly stitched to each panel and when attached to the polls stretches the stitches, some of them to the point of breaking and causing the panel to flap in which I will have to figure out how to fix that later.I started assembly at 10 AM and finished at 12:30 PM. All of the plastics used to assemble this canopy are thick and sturdy, the polls are of decent quality and fairly sturdy. The instructions used to assemble this are fairly simple if you can follow the numbers 123456.Visually this canopy looks really nice and will do the job I’m looking for temporary but if you are expecting to have this up for more than maybe 6 to 8 months I doubt that it will survive. Taking it down and reassembling it will probably cause more damage and not be worth it.Now for comments to the manufacturer:I would like to see more than three stitches put in each piece of Velcro used to attach each panel to the pole a lot of the Velcro on these panels are not secured properly and not in the correct place which causes the panel to distort when attaching to each pole. There is only so much Velcro and using every bit to just attach it to a pole stretches the stitches where I have already had three rip apart. You should have your dies checked when making the polls because some of the polls just spin when they should lock in tight or semi-tight when putting them together. I wouldn’t mind spending a few extra dollars for a more sturdy assembly. With regards to the Velcro being stitched better maybe in an X pattern or something to that effect plus making sure that the Velcro is attached to the panel in the correct position.All in all I think that it is a decent temporary canopy.We purchased this tent for a large family gathering. Tent was easy to set up decent quality. Had it set up rain came thru on Saturday but we just emptied the water off. No problem. Unfortunately it rain overnight before we could get it down and it collapsed. No fault of the manufacturer or anyone. I kindly reached out to the seller and just wanted to buy replacement parts before I trashed the tent. Had a quick response and it wasn’t covered under warranty. No problems. More than willing to pay. They came back with as a thank you will replace the parts at NO CHARGE And cover shipping. I was totally blown away. I received all the parts with no bill. This type of customer service is hard to find these days.Bought this canopy for a graduation party to supplement seating and shade. We've left it up now for a month and the whole thing is still holding strong.Assembly instructions are in the baggie of tie down strings, easily overlooked.I assembled it alone but recommend several people.This product is not worth the price. It’s material is similar to a cheap plastic picnic table cloth. It’s not wind resistant and must be put up the day of event according to the instructions. One of the side pieces plastic came torn. ??‍♀️. I suggest that you spend the exta money to find something more durable. I will be putting this back in the box and will return it.I have had other versions of this tent. This much is much improved on those. It has metal clips that hold pipes together. And the plastic sleeves fit with a cut out for the metal clip at pole ends. So no need to duct tape ends with this one. The sides have buckle clips to hold them to poles and plastic rings not just Velcro straps. Much more sturdy.Much more reliable. Used it for thanksgiving in Ma. , Lined it with heavy duty shower liners. By hanging them with curtain rod rings. Put a heater in there and had to be 10 degrees warmer. And blocked the wind. MTent did great.I ordered this because it was a lot cheaper than renting a tent for my son‘s graduation party. It arrived quickly and well packaged. It was pretty easy to put together with four people! It is a very nice tent especially at that price! It is not super thick or anything like that but it really did a great job and kept the rain off of us in last it out there a few days until we took it down!
